We have a complicated relationship with food. We struggle with how we perceive our bodies and with accepting them just as they are... We try diets that often end in failure and new beginnings. The weight goes down, then quickly back up again. We don't know why. We experience frustration and self-blame, feeling like we're not good enough. Like we'll never be able to succeed—in a sustainable way. All of this, and much more, is now part of the journey toward our dream weight, and ultimately, better health and a better life.
For many years, we believed that exercising more and eating less was the answer. But as it turns out, it's all much more complex. Each of us needs a different combination of approaches to reach our natural weight—the one that fits us individually. We all have our own unique story that brought us to the point where we're beginning to address this issue. This includes genetic, epigenetic, psychological, and other factors. The path "out" is also unique, just like the context that has shaped our story. And most importantly… we care about your story.
